- August 1, 2011: I retired from teaching art at Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences (Brooklyn, NY) of the New York City Department of Education in order to focus on my painting and drawing. Teaching art in the public schools of NYC was a very gratifying job. Throughout over 25 years, my numerous students received recognition for their work in a variety of city, state and national student art exhibitions, internships, and competitions. Many of my students continued their studies in college studio art, art history, graphic design, and architecture programs and are pursuing careers in visual arts.
